The ChemDefend® 100 range of protective coveralls utilise the latest SMMS nonwoven technology, whereby two layers of meltblown polypropylene barrier films are sandwiched between structural spunbonded polypropylene outer layers. This delivers a strong breathable material with excellent protection against particulate hazards.

The ChemDefend® 100 range material is soft, with excellent drape. The coverall is constructed to offer optimum body fit with generous use of fabric in the underarms, chest and waist, allowing comfortable, unrestricted freedom of movement.

The garment incorporates a number of key design features to assist in maximising protection, comfort and strength and to ease the donning and doffing process.

EN1073-2:2003 – Protective clothing against radioactive particulate contamination.

Type 5 – EN ISO 13982-1:2004+A1:2010 – Dry particle protection – suits which provide protection to the full body against airborne solid particles.

Type 6 – EN13034:2005+A1:2009 – Reduced spray-suits which offer limited protection against a light spray of liquid chemicals.

ChemDefend 100 with sealed taped seams complies with the requirements detailed in the document ‘Protection contre les fibres d’amiante: Performances des vêtements de type 5 à usage unique’, produced by l’Assurance Maladie and INRS.

The product range is available in sizes Small to 3XL and a range of styles to suit different applications.

Note: ChemDefend® does not give any warranties or make any representations about its coveralls other than those contained within the official literature supplied by ChemDefend® with each coverall. Risk analysis should be carried out by the user to select the appropriate PPE and it is the user's responsibility to select the correct combination of full body protective coverall and other equipment. The user will also need to determine how long a coverall can be worn for a particular use and/or exposure to a hazard, with regard it its protective performance, comfort and heat stress. Unless otherwise stated all test data relates to laboratory test data generated on fabrics only. Note that seams and closure systems may offer different, possibly lower chemical barrier protection.
