The ChemDefend® 410 series of garments are constructed from a unique nonwoven composite which has been engineered to offer a high level of barrier to the permeation of organic, inorganic chemicals and infective agents. The material provides a very high level of strength and durability combined with good levels of drape. A polyethylene and EVOH barrier composite is bonded onto a structural spunbonded polypropylene base layer. The product is made from a highly visible orange composite.

ChemDefend® 410 coverall range is constructed to offer optimum body fit, with generous use of fabric in the underarms, chest and waist, allowing comfortable, unrestricted freedom of movement.

The garment incorporates a number of key design features to assist in maximizing protection, comfort and strength and to ease the donning and doffing process. This includes a wide protective zip flap with an integrated chin flap.

The garment is based on sealed taped- seam technology, where the seams use the same chemical permeation barrier as the whole suit.

Additionally, all the elastication within the coverall is fully bound and enclosed, to assist comfort and also reduce the shedding of any threads and potential contaminant from the coverall into a production process.

EN1073-2:2003 – Protective clothing against radioactive particulate contamination.

EN1149-5:2008 – Protective clothing with electrostatic dissipative properties.

EN14126:2003 – Protective clothing against infective agents and biological hazards.

Type 3 – EN 14605+A1:2009 – Suits that can protect against strong and directional jets of hazardous liquid chemicals.

Type 4 – EN 14605+A1:2009 – Suits that offer protection against saturation from hazardous liquid chemicals.

Type 5 – EN ISO 13982-1:2004+A1:2010 – Dry particle protection – suits which provide protection to the full body against airborne solid particles.

Type 6 – EN13034:2005+A1:2009 – Reduced spray-suits which offer limited protection against a light spray of liquid chemicals.

The product range is available in sizes Small to 3XL and a range of styles to suit different applications.

Models 055, 036 and 046 with a complex zip and flap system PASS EN ISO 17491-3:2008 Type 3 Jet Spray Test and EN ISO 17491-4:2008 Type 4 Saturation Spray Test, without the need to tape down the zip flap system.

Note: ChemDefend® does not give any warranties or make any representations about its coveralls other than those contained within the official literature supplied by ChemDefend® with each coverall. Risk analysis should be carried out by the user to select the appropriate PPE and it is the user's responsibility to select the correct combination of full body protective coverall and other equipment. The user will also need to determine how long a coverall can be worn for a particular use and/or exposure to a hazard, with regard it its protective performance, comfort and heat stress. Unless otherwise stated all test data relates to laboratory test data generated on fabrics only. Note that seams and closure systems may offer different, possibly lower chemical barrier protection.
